Julie Hanna – New Horizon College

Bio

Julie has been teaching English for more than 15 years. Before that, she was a primary school teacher until she realised she wasn’t very good with children! Consequently she very much enjoys working with adults and learning about other cultures. Her main aim is to keep teaching English in a fun and motivating way.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts English
Diploma in Teaching
PGDip Second Language Teaching (Massey University)

Why I like teaching English:

I love teaching English at New Horizon because there is a great variety in the nationalities and ages of the students. This makes teaching fun and interesting. The staff members are also very friendly and supportive.
