Lindsey has been involved in language teaching for 20 years. She has worked in secondary schools but her main focus has been teaching ESOL to adults, mostly at New Horizon where she has worked for 15 years.  Three years ago she became the Director of Studies at New Horizon.  Motivating students and making their learning relevant and engaging is a key part of her teaching philosophy.  She also wants to help keep teachers motivated and creative. She loves animals and still enjoys riding her horse.  Reading and gardening come a close second, while crosswords and sudoku keep her busy too!

Why I love teaching English:
It’s a great way to meet a wide variety of people and cultures and to share my enjoyment of the English language.
