Robyn worked as a manager and an interpreter before she trained as an English language teacher and went to work in East Timor and other developing countries.  She returned to New Zealand three years ago and has been teaching at New Horizon for the past two years.  She enjoys the mix of ages and nationalities at New Horizon and believes that humour and having fun is an important tool for learning.  In her free time she enjoys travelling, reading, writing and walking, and playing with her little dog, Toby.
